Statement of Faith

My belief and trust in Jesus Christ is the center focus of my life. I will not be satisfied with anything less and my heart refuses to compromise the love God has for me by exchanging His love for a lie. On this journey toward the long tomorrow I pray that my heart, my soul, my mind and my all will reflect the deep and everlasting joy of serving the one I call Savior and Lord. He is my all and to Him I dedicate my life and my very being.

I Believe there is only one true God, who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

I Believe Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man, without ceasing to be God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.

I Believe Jesus Christ walked among us in order to reveal God and redeem sinful man. He bridged the infinite chasm between God and man through his death on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice.

I Believe in the literal physical resurrection of Jesus Christ on the third day. Jesus conquered death and the debt has been paid in full.

I Believe Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him.

I Believe forgiveness and eternal life is a gift of God and cannot be earned through man’s efforts. God’s precious gift is received by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose blood was shed for the forgiveness of our sins.

I Believe that God calls us to live our lives, not merely for today, but for the long tomorrow. We are called to be imitators of Christ and to be the light and salt of the world and to be as a City on a Hill. We are to occupy until He comes and to take Dominion over all areas of life including but not limited to education, civil government, and the arts and sciences.

I Believe the Bible to be God’s Word. The words contained in the Bible’s sixty-six books are God’s written revelation to man, God-breathed, and without error in its original documents.

I Believe the Bible to be written by human authors who were guided through the Holy Spirit. The Word of God was composed and recorded without error through their individual personalities and writing styles.

I Believe the Bible to be the exclusive rule of faith and practice. The Word of God stands forever.

I appreciate your site! I made use of some of your research in completing an article for our ministry at Reasons For Hope. Not sure when my article will be posted but my premise is to address a common argument used by so many atheists (I used to be one). They endeavor to ridicule the Scriptures as foolish gibberish written by ignorant goat herders but the testimony of history’s elite intellects, artists and scientists simply does not support their position. Thanks again for articles!

Thank you for visiting! I’m glad my research was of some use to you. Since writing it I have learned so much more and continue to be amazed at how often people are searching for information on the same topic. Lord willing, I hope to expand on individual topics in the near future. To God be the glory!

Thank you for your article on the influence of Christianity and Western Civilization. I used it to answer atheists who are trying to discredit the Bible and its followers and to deny the positive influence it has had over society. It gave me the information I was looking for in a nicely written essay. I spend a lot of my time declaring the Word of God and defending the faith. I have been the victim of many attacks by opponents of the faith but I will continue to stand for truth regardless of my loss popularity.

    Gd bless you.

I am so glad you found its contents to be of help and I pray God will give you wisdom and strength as you fight the good fight. May I also suggest reading works by R.J. Rushdoony and Otto Scott? Both are excellent sources for a biblical worldview of history.
